BDM – BASS DRUM MUFFLER

The new hands free bass drum muffler far surpasses my previous design.  No more neck strap, no more clumsy plastic spring clips to hold it on.  The new muffler features an attached black delrin sleeve clamp that holds the single leather tail onto the hoop.  Comes with a lanyard that clips to your pocket, your cumber bun, your vest or your belt loop…wherever you like.  Clip the muffler to the drum and use the lanyard to clip onto the parachute cord loop in order take it on and off the head hands free, just pivot your hip very slightly.  In concerts and auditions just keep the lanyard attached to you at all times…even conceal it in your pocket while still clipped on.  This way you can execute Mahler 3 or Rite of Spring on any drum quickly and quietly and focus on your playing without having to use any awkward stance and angle.  From the audience most people have absolutely no idea how you are muffling on and off, it’s that stealthy.  You can easily use it to take on and off the head for muffling in between notes and some people even use the lanyard on their pant legs in order to play certain excerpts vertical and traditional grip!  Hand sewn and made to last.
