The limited edition medium ellipse is made from hornwood ™ and is a truly unique sound to any other mallet we make. It’s medium size and weight makes it a very good all around model for almost anything so that you have even more options and variety of sound colors. Because of the elongated elliptical head shape, it makes wider contact with the bars and makes them ring slightly longer than other models and enhancing the fundamental and immediacy of the pitch.
